Leading in Mission
God has given the church a mission not only globally, but also locally. As GBC seeks to emphasize local mission in 2009, we’re gathering the men of the church to spend a couple days talking, thinking, and praying about a vision and a plan for how each of us can fulfill his God-given role to lead our homes and our church in God’s mission.
On the retreat we’ll develop our theme with teaching from John Kiningham, Eric Zeller, and Russ Collins, additional practical workshops, and time for personal prayer and meditation on scripture. There will also be fellowship through lots of food, team games, free time with the many activities available at Rockin’ C Ranch, and a big campfire.
Rockin' C Ranch
We've chosen Rockin' C Ranch as our location because of their reputation for taking good care of groups like ours, having good food, having lots of activities available, and being a great place to fellowship. Rockin' C is located in East Texas, approximately two hours east of the Metroplex. To learn more about the location and activities available, visit their website.
Cost
Your cost of $70 includes all meals, snacks, and coffee, accommodations the night of April 3, and all Rockin' C Ranch activities.
Pre-Retreat Golf (optional)
Friday afternoon at Twin Lakes Golf Course, ($40, to be paid at the course).
